The day my Mom left me (emotionally/mentally) was one of the worst days of my life. I remember the exact day, March 12th 2013, yet, I don’t really remember our exact fight. All I remember is being really sad and my Mom coming in and trying to talk, but I just didn’t have the energy to say anything, so I shook my head and she took it as a gesture of disrespect. She then lost her patience with me and started to yell, she told me she was done with me and my bullshit and that if I wanted to talk about something, to find someone else. Since then, we aren’t the same. We rarely talk and when we do, it’s about how terrible my grades are and how I’m not going to do well in life. I can’t talk to her about how I am talking to other guys, or how I have gained weight and how I am friends with my ex again, I can’t tell her all of the good things that have happened to me in the past month or two. I miss my Mom. She may be there physically, but she is not there emotionally. If you’re still reading this, all I ask is that you respect your family, talk to them as often as you can because when they’re gone (either physically or emotionally), you’re going to miss them.
